James Rigby
Schoolmaster at Village Green; clerk of St Martin’s, Marcus Hook, 1760–1791. Taxed in seven townships, landless in all of them. Died 9 March 1801; grave unlocated.

Hannah Brown
Daughter of Daniel Brown of Upper Chichester. Disowned by Concord Monthly Meeting in 1758 for marrying an Anglican, restored the same year, and buried at Chichester in 1824.

Eli Rigby
Nail maker, of Doe Run and then Concord Township. Married Elizabeth Harlan in 1796. Eight children. Will dated 29 July 1858.

- Seth Rigby (1802–1875) and Lydia John — Eli’s son, a nail maker like his father; married in Philadelphia in 1829, which got Lydia disowned; received into Roxborough Methodism in 1844; three children born at Lima. ⚠ His death date is contested: 26 May 1875 (Cope) against 13 November 1875 (family database).
- Seth Rigby (c.1761–1854) — James’s son, who married Hannah Clark at the First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia in 1790 and died at New Castle, Lawrence County, aged ninety-three. His ten children are the western Pennsylvania branch.
- Daniel Rigby (1757–c.1850) — James’s eldest, who went to Ohio and whose estate was partitioned in Jay County, Indiana, in 1850–51. A Revolutionary supply-tax payer.
- William Henry Rigby (1830–1907) — millwright, of Lima, Nether Providence and Concord.
- Enoch Harlan Rigby (1830–1887) — Private, Company I, 97th Pennsylvania Infantry; buried at St Martin’s under a military marker.
